OUR HISTORY

Trozzo beekeeping is a company born a few years ago but its family tradition is rooted over time. In fact, for three generations the Trozzo family has been dedicated to beekeeping with loving passion and dedication. Grandma Antonietta in the 1960s had a few bee families from which, once a year, a neighbor went to help her to extract the honey. In the 90s his son Franco maintains the tradition with a few dozen hives, always for domestic use. The sweet nectar that was produced by the bees was very popular and this pushed more and more to produce it and to organize itself as a company in all respects. Currently the grandson Giuseppe with the help of his father have made it a real profession that involved the whole family. In 2013 a company called APICOLTURA TROZZO was born with headquarters in Carolei in the province of Cosenza. The company finds space in the peripheral hills that surround Cosenza. The stations of the families are located throughout Calabria. This data allows you to have single-flower honeys and multi-flower honeys (millefiori), that is characteristic of the places where the stations themselves are located.
